The CADN has launched a new website for anyone involved in dance in California. On the site you will find an exhaustive variety of dance-related contacts throughout the state on an interactive dance map ranging from dancers, teachers, and performance spaces to graduate study, dance suppliers and administration resources. You can also read news and reviews from around the country as well as post your own shows, workshops and events on a state-wide calendar.
Not only is this a free space to promote your own work, but by gathering and publicizing census data about the state’s thriving dance field, we are letting our elected officials understand the enormous contribution—cultural and financial—that the dance field makes to the state of California every year. Help ensure funding and support by creating a profile and being counted in the dance census.
Follow the link to create your own profile. It takes less than 15 minutes.

More about the California Dance Network (CADN)…
The California Dance Network (CADN) website was developed by an alliance of dance service organizations throughout the state in partnership with the California Arts Council and The James Irvine Foundation to strengthen, connect, unify, and promote the state’s thriving dance field.
Along with connecting through the CADN dance maps, we encourage you to plug into your local community by joining the partner organization in your vicinity. Regional membership gives you access to more resources and detailed information about dance in your area, including events, funding, and advocacy.
